REGISTRATION Payment Options

Registration Fee

Sunshine Nursery School

To register and reserve a place for your child in school an annual nonrefundable registration fee of $50 is required at the time of registration.

Tuition Fee Payment Options

Parents have the following options to make their payments:

Option 1: Payment with post dated cheques

The tuition fees may be made in the form of post-dated cheques. The schedule of post-dated cheques is as follows:

  1. The registration fee, dated time of registration, and a cheque dated September 1, received at the time of registration.
  2. The remainder of the 9 cheques, October - June, postdated for the first of each month must be received during the month of September.

Option 2: Payment made in full at time of registration

The registration fee of $50 will be waived when payment of the class fee is made in full [for the entire year] at the time of registration.

For the:
4 year olds MWF am program at 3 days per week, payment is $2200
4 year olds MWF pm program at 3 days per week, payment is $2200
4 year olds program at 2 days per week, payment is $1800
3 year olds program at 2 days per week, payment is $1350

When a family registers two or more children for the same school year only a single registration fee will be required.

Payment must be received to reserve your child's place in the school for the school year [September-June].

Only cheques, payable to Sunshine Nursery School or cash is acceptable.

Any child absent due to temporary reasons (however long, but is expected to return), such as a vacation or illness, is still expected to pay the full fee. However, should a child be withdrawn permanently from the school, one month's written notice is required and the tuition fees following the months notice will be returned.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SCHOOL IS A PROFESSIONAL NURSERY SCHOOL (PRESCHOOL) WHERE THE CHILDREN ARE PREPARED FOR KINDERGARTEN. THE MONTHLY FEES DO NOT VARY WITH THE NUMBER OF TEACHING DAYS OR NON-SCHOOL DAYS IN EACH MONTH. THE SCHOOL IS NOT A BABY SITTING SERVICE NOR DAYCARE CENTRE WHERE RATES ARE BASED ON A PER HOUR OR PER DAY BASIS.

A letter confirming registration will be sent out when the payment under Option 1 or 2 above is made.

  • There will be a $25 charge for N.S.F. cheques.
  • Outstanding fees will be charged 2% per month.
  • PROMPT AND ACCURATE PAYMENT IS EXPECTED
